User Guide 5: Reviewing detailed responses
On receiving a final detailed response from a business thinker, it is important to provide an accurate review
You will be notified on your home page and "requests" page when you receive a final, detailed resopnse to one of your requests.
At this point, take time to review the response carefully, including any attached files provided, then give a rating to help other Kathink users assess the BT's performance on the task.
Rating the response
When you receive the final, detailed response from the BT, you will be able to provide a rating to describe the overall quality of the service provided:
- Excellent: equivalent to a 100% score
- Good: equivalent to a 80% score
- Acceptable: equivalent to a 60% score
Is is very important to provide an accurate rating, to help ensure that all clients using Kathink get the most appropriate service in future. You, and other users, will be able to view any BT's complete commission history, and see the ratings they have received for different commissions over time. This is helpful to indicate the areas in which a particular BT may be stronger or weaker.
We ask you to provide your rating within 2 days of receiving the detailed response from the Business Thinker.
If the response is unacceptable
In the rare situation that a BT's response is totally unacceptable, under one of the following cases, Kathink offers an Objection Service:
- The Business Thinker has violated the intellectual property rights of a third party in the course of preparing the Full Details in the Commissioned Response;
- the Business Thinker has failed to effectively transfer the ownership of the intellectual property rights in the Commissioned Response to the Corporate (for example the Business Thinker has not provided the Corporate with a signed agreement transferring the intellectual property rights as per the "Agreement for the Transfer of All Intellectual Property Rights in a Commissioned Response" Template provided to the Business Thinker on the Site);
- the Commissioned Response is fraudulent in a material aspect;
- the Full Details have failed to take into account a very clear pre-condition which the Corporate communicated to the Business Thinker prior to the Commission.
If you submit an objection, Kathink Customer Services commit to respond within 7 days with a decision on the objection.
Customer Services may suggest asking the BT to undertake such additional work as is necessary to make the response acceptable, to achieve a quick satisfactory outcome.
If your objection is upheld, you will not be liable to pay the fees to the Business Thinker. In this case, the BT will receive a rating between 0-20%, allocated by Kathink Customer Services.
However, if the objection is not found to be valid, you will still be contractually bound to pay the fee to the BT. In this case, the BT will receive a rating from Kathink Customer Services.
What other users will see
If you or any client views a Business Thinker's commission history, you will see the following for all commissions placed:
- The title of the original request (but no further details, as these are not held on the system)
- The final fee paid (important for assessing the level and scale of services the BT provides)
- The rating of the BT (which may be between 0% and 100%)
